The bright clean walls in contrast to the light wood, plants and art make this place feel like “home”, not just a house.

a street-level record of Johannesburg and the East Rand: taxis threading pavements, night lights on wet tarmac, the stubborn beauty of a city that’s forever rebuilding itself. Shot on the move, the work holds the noise, the silence, the grit and the grace—how people commute, hustle, wait, love, and survive.

These frames sit with the contradictions: speed and stall, wealth and want, cleanliness and decay. Together they form a portrait of Johannesburg’s everyday choreography.
